Asia Wise was founded in Beijing, China by Micah Truman, a 14 year China business veteran.
In 1997, Micah founded digital advertising agency Wanmo.com (originally called Madeforchina) in Beijing. Since that time, the company has grown from a 2 person startup to over 50 employees, with offices in Beijing and Shanghai
Wanmo has a client list that includes Nokia, Motorola, IBM, Hewlett Packard, BMW, Estee Lauder, Microsoft, Ford, Bausch and Lomb, Oracle, and Canon. Micah has a degree in both East Asian Studies and Politics from Oberlin College. He has spoken at the Wharton School of Business, The Economist Conferences, and at the CEO forum in Seattle on Bridging the Digital Divide. He lives in Beijing China, speaks Chinese, and is married with two children.
